Plan to replace the RESET source from TPS3808 to TPS3895 - Active High, Push-Pull output.

Do you think that this is OK?

Yes, that will work. The push-pull output eliminates the need for a pull-up resistor, so the issue is bypassed and you can use a pull-down resistor for startup.
