CD54HC138: CD54HC138F3A thermal resistance

Part Number: CD54HC138

Team,

My customer has the following question:

I have a couple of questions regarding some Texas Instruments part numbers CD54HC138F3A, CD54AC273F3A and CD54HC273F3A.

The datasheet or the website do not include information regarding the power dissipation of the parts mentioned above or the thermal resistance (JθC). Can you please help me finding this information for each of the three parts?

Regards,

Aaron

  • Aaron,
The devices should have a Cpd parameter listed (I checked the HC138). This parameter can be used to determine the dynamic power dissipation. In the HC138, it is listed with 2 notes that describe the equation for Pd.

With respect to the theta Jc. I will have to request these be modeled. This process takes about 2 weeks to complete. I will work on getting them submitted today.

    Regards,
    Wade
  • Aaron,
