Is it possible to tie the OE directly to GND without power sequencing ?

Is it also correct for the sn74avch16t245 ?

Hi Nir,

OE can be directly tied to gnd pin if the device needs to be always enabled. Tying it to Vcca is optional, and recommended only if the IO ports needs to be in hi-Z before the supply pins are stable.
This is true for both AXCH and AVCH devices( and LVCH).
Do you have more info on the usage or the background for SN74AXCH8T245?

Thanks for the quick response.
We've looked on the datasheet yesterday and it was quite hard to understand what are the outcomes of tie the OE to VCC/GND.
Thanks for the clarification.

The usage for this device is shifting the level of a bus between two devices.
