SN74LVC1G125-Q1: Clarification regarding partial power down feature of SN74LVC1G125-Q1

Hi TI support,

I intend to use partial power down feature of SN74LVC1G125-Q1 in one of my application. I would appreciate some clarifications on this feature,

1. Datasheet doesn't specifies condition of OE/ while specifying Ioff values. Can you pls clarify if OE/ has to be low or high or is don't care when Ioff is specified. I intend to keep OE/ low (grounded) initially when VCC=0 so part gets enabled when VCC=3.3V.

2. Ioff circuitry disables only output or both input & output.

When power is off, it is not possible to sense the state of input pins. So the state of OE does not matter.

LVC devices have overvoltage-tolerant inputs, both with and without power.

Thanks for your response. I would appreciate if you can clarify second statement

"LVC devices have overvoltage-tolerant inputs, both with and without power." Does this means Ioff is active on both inputs & outputs..?

The I_off feature itself applies only to the output, but that is because the inputs do not need it. When the device is powered down, all inpus and output pins are high impedance.
