The code mark on this device per the data sheet is CTO but the code mark on the one we ordered is CT5.

I cannot find the mark for pin 1.

The part I got is actually SN74LVC2G06QDCKR. Is this the same as SN74LVC2G06-EP? If not, where can I find the data sheet for SN74LVC2G06-EP?

Hello Minglai,

SN74LVC2G06-EP is the generic product name for the EP grade of the part. If you go to that product page or datasheet, you will see that the orderable product name is: SN74LVC2G06MDCKREP or it can be ordered by the VID number: V62/06640-01XE

SN74LVC2G06QDCKR is the commercial grade version of the part. It will have the marking CT5. It is covered by the generic product number and datasheet: SN74LVC2G06

The package drawing at the back of the datasheet will show how to identify pin 1.

Hi Kirby,

I have trouble identifying pin 1. There is thin bar next to the letter "C" on the left side.. Which is pin 1?

What is the input resistance of the input pins?

Per the operating temperature range in the datasheet, it should be an industrial part.

Hi,

The circuit below does not seem to be working.

This is why I am asking the question.

There is a 4.7K ohm resistor pulled up to Vcc_in at the input pin.

The device indicated is the Automotive version.

It has its own product folder:

If you ordered the Q1 version, SN74LVC2G06QDCKRQ1 the the marking should be CTO per the marking information. (from the orderable tab in product folder).

Please post the circuit again. It did not show up in the forum. Use the paperclip option to insert the image or file.

Hi Ming,

The line at the end of the device is the "pin 1 index" described in the datasheet:

I added a green highlight to indicate the line.

If you place the line to your left, then pin 1 will always be at the bottom left of the device.

That is what I thought at the beginning but I burned a device with that assumption.

I found it to be on the opposite side.

Do you have a datasheet showing this code mark CT5 and pin 1 identification?

Hi Ming,

The last digit is just a manufacturing indicator to let us know which site made the part. It does not change the pinout.

This is a direct screenshot from the manufacturing site for the topside marking:

As you can see, the CT5 device has the same pin 1 indicator as all the others, as I showed above.

What circuit are you using to test the device? Can you share a schematic?
