Hello,

My customer is looking at the output of the SN54LS139A when there is no VCC (or VCC is below ON threshold) -

  1. Do the outputs operate as high impedance or do they tie to VCC or GND?
  2. Is there any measurable leakage current through the outputs to either VCC or GND?

    Hi Reed,

    The D/S shows the output connection so you can see what is connected to it. There is no circuitry to isolate this when device is powered down.There are leakage paths, but there is no specified amount. If they are expecting something else to drive the output while this device is off, I wouldn't recommend it.
