TXS0101: Switch state of power down

Hello,

I think TXS0101 is MOSFET base level shifter. So only one side power supply is on but OE is low, TXS0101 will be Hi-z state. Is my understanding correct?

There is a description below. Where from this restriction comes from?

"VCCA must be less than or equal to VCCB, and VCCA must not exceed 3.6 V"

Hi,

The TXS0101 has an OE input that is used to disable the device by setting OE low, which places all I/Os in the Hi-Z state.

"VCCA must be less than or equal to VCCB, and VCCA must not exceed 3.6 V" This requirement is due to the bias circuit. This still needs to hold true at all times since the supplies are connected to each other through the internal circuitry.

Hello Karan-san,

Please let me confirm. When OE is low, device is hi-z state in below both cases.

1) VCCA = ON, VCCB = OFF

2) VCCA = OFF, VCCB = ON

The I_off specification in section 6.5 shows that all I/Os are hi-Z when either power supply is off.

Yes, when either supply is at 0V, all the I/O's are in Hi-Z.
