Hi,
Do you have your shipping label or the label on the tape or reel this part came in? This will help quality be able to trace this part down.
Thanks!

Hi,
I will mention, we have no standard on engraving our parts. It is most likely a real part. Are you seeing any specific problems with it?
Thanks!

This chip's problem is, it won't latch with proper inputs. But once I powered down and grounded these pins, it back to normal.
Yes. I noticed that on each datasheet TI says changing the marking without notice. I have another chip looks strange, too. See below
there are some differences about the other chip:
1. DOT area depth, the suspect has a shallower but steep wall ------------ package molding issue: does TI or TI's vendor changed package's molding to make different dot area.
2. The surface of the package, the suspect has a smooth surface
3. The laser engraving depth, with same ambient light, the reflection shows difference: the suspect has little/no reflection and you couldn't read the chars of the marking. I doubted it's caused by lower power laser engraving.
Hi,
I would need a shipping label from you to find out anything. You can also reach out to customer support as they might be better able to help you with this.
Thanks!
