Hi, Ti experts;

we are using SN74LVC16T245;

The data sheet describes the Ci of shared port pin values 4pF typically.

My customer wants to know how to test the Ci, and can i use the LCR to test?

if we can use LCR to test , how should the test conditions at measuring the Ci be set?

    Hi,

    The input capacitance can be measured by providing an AC signal to the input and measuring the input current to find the input impedance.

    Capacitive impedance is 1/(2*pi*f*C). I recommend inputting an AC signal at 10MHz and measuring the input impedance.
