Hi,

I have data line of module X that has typical voltage of 1.8V. I am planning to connect it to both VCCA (power) and A (data) pins. Then, the B will be connected MCU GPIO of 3.3V. I would like to know if it is possible to combine VCCA and A pins. 

The goal is to only allow data to pass through when the GPIO of module X is HIGH and vice versa.

Please advise.
