SN74LS125A: Replacement of SN74LS125AN

The SN74LS125N has been discontinued and is no longer supplied.
Is the SN74LS125AN pin compatible with the SN74LS125N (same pin arrangement and same or higher spec) can be replaced?

Please let me know because I cannot confirm because there is no SN74LS125N data sheet.

This datasheet is from 1988, and even then it had the "A" suffix:

Are you sure that the SN74LS125N was made by TI, and not by Motorola?

In any case, an "A" suffix indicates an improved version, so there should be no problem. And it's not as if you had any choice …
