Hi,

need voltage translator for 25MHz clock - 3.3V to 1.8V.

can i use the 74AVC1T45 ? what is the advantage of 74AXC1T45?

The AXC is faster, and has glitch-free power up.

Anyway, for unidirectional downtranslation, you can simply use any buffer with an overvoltage-tolerant input, e.g., SN74AUC1G125.

Isn't the 74AVC1T45 sufficient my requirement of 25MHz?

Hi Erez,

Either device will work here but the AXC device will provide better performance.
