Hi team,

My customer need a precise local second pulse. The scheme is that the crystal oscillator is divided by the chip CD74HC460, but the chip manual does not have a specific jitter index. He want to know what is the output pulse accuracy after the input pulse is divided by the CD74HC460, and how much jitter will increase?

    The divider is digital, so the accuracy is perfect: at every 16384th falling edge of the oscillator, the Q14 output will toggle.

    The output jitter depends on the jitter of the input signal and on any changes in the propagation delay. I doubt that information about tpd jitter is available for devices acquired from Harris.
