CD74AC04: Top part marking decoder of LDC?

Part Number: CD74AC04

Hello,

I'm trying to determine the authenticity of a batch of CD74AC04M parts my supplier is using on our assemblies, and I'm trying to use the following marking on the top of the parts to determine which LDC information (listed on the CofC) is the most likely LDC.  The marking on the first line is:  93C47PK G4. The second line shows:  AC04M.  The Avnet CofC also lists the PN they ordered as "CD74AC04M96"  and LDC info on multiple lines as both 1910 and 1912.  I know this s/b good enough to make a judgment about these parts, but as a techie i HAVE to know how the TI marking codes translate.  :-)

Thank you in advance for your feedback!

  • Hey Jim,

This is an open forum on the internet (searchable via numerous search engines) - if I post the exact meaning of every character for our devices, then it would become exceedingly easy for anyone who chose to use that information to mark their own counterfeit parts. We do have some information available, for example here: https://www.ti.com/packaging/docs/partlookup.tsp#divline

If you feel that you have received counterfeit devices, I can involve the TI counterfeit team who can check authenticity based on images of the packaging/paperwork received with the devices.

  • To whom it may concern,

I received the following response from teh E2E forum and am surprised to learn this "TI E2E Logic Forum" is an OPEN forum, not secure from the general internet public!  I guess I need to find the secure page to login to  on the TI site.

  • Hi Jim,

Did you not know that this is a forum?  One of the best parts about it is that you can go to Google and search for posts on here to find answers quickly.

If you have a private matter to discuss with TI, I would recommend reaching out to your local TI sales office or contact the TI support email directly.
