A customer wants to use SN54LVTH244A to transmit data at a distance of 45 feet. Will the signal degrade at that distance?

Long cables have a certain voltage drop, but the largest problem will be noise and ground shift. The use of the military temperature range implies that the environment might be electrically noisy, so I would suggest differential transmission (M-LVDS or RS-422).
