SN74LVTH16240: Datasheet inquiry

Hi,

Good day. I hope you are doing fine.

Our customer is using the SN74LVTH16240 and they are confused by the logic diagram provided, specifically on the /OE pins. It seems that this device has two positive active OE and two negative active OE as the logic drawing states. On the other hand, on the description, it states that this device has symmetrical active-low output-enable (OE) inputs. In line with this, can you please confirm which information is correct?

Hi Cedrick,

I'm going to have to test this to be certain, but my initial assumption is that all of the OE pins are active low -- which would be consistent with all other 16240 functions in our portfolio.

Since this device shows the same inconsistency in the pinout, functional diagram, and ANSI drawing, I want to confirm before providing an answer. It will take me a few days to get some samples and perform my tests.

Hey Cedrick,

I've been able to verify that all of the OE pins on this device are active low -- which is consistent with all of our other 16240 functions.

Due to our current queue of datasheets, it will take quite some time for this update to be completed (could be up to 6 months).
