SN74LVC2T45: Leak current

Part Number: SN74LVC2T45

Hi Team,

My customer is trying to use SN74LVC2T45DUC.

They noticed a large leak current on the board they created.

I understand that when DIR = VCCA, VCCA = 3.3V, VCCB = 3.3V, A1 = 0V, A2 = 0V, then ΔIccA = max.50uA.

What is the value(typ.) at Ta=25 ℃?

In 11.2 Layout Example, the DIR pin is connected to VCCA via a resistor.

The customer is not connecting through a resistor, is it related to the leak current?

Is there a recommended resistance value?

Best Regards,

Kenji

  • ΔICCA does not apply when the input voltage is 0 V. In your situation, the typical leakage current should be 0 µA.

How exactly was the leakage current measured? And how large is it? Might it be dirt, or a solder bridge?
