Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74AXC4T245,
The device specifies prop times down to a voltage of 1.1 volts. If I use a 1.0 volt supply what will the prop times be?

I don't need a bi-directional translator. I need a fast uni-directional translator that runs at 0.975 to 1.18 volts. Do you have one you can recommend?
If the prop times on the SN74AVC4T234 are 1 or 2 ns longer that is okay. I just need to know what they are.
Bill
okay, for the SN74AVC4T234, just to clarify, if I make VCCB = 1.0 volts (instead of 1.1 volts) and VCCA = 3.3 volts. The 3.9/3.1 nS propagation time does not apply and instead of the device being 1 or 2 ns slower, the timing is undefined because nobody knows. Correct?
reference page 7 of the rev B datasheet
Section 8.3.1 on page 10 of the datasheet should be removed since the device cannot support voltages of less than 1.1 volts.
The first line in the features section should also be removed.
Bill
okay, thank-you. Our supply values are 1.18 to 0.97 so the 1.1 prop time will be valid for some of our voltage range. I will take a look at the other part you mentioned also.
Thank you for responding quickly.
