SN74LVC1T45: maximum ratings of input voltage respect to VCCA or VCCB

Hi,

on the datasheet of SN74LVC1T45, I see the absolute maximum rating of input voltage(A or B pins) is -0.5V to 6.5V.
Is this specification arbitary regardless of VccA and VccB voltage values?

For example if VCCA is 3.3V, can the A pin go up to 6.5V without exceed the IC specification?

The inputs indeed allow any voltage. See [FAQ] Can the input voltage (Vi) to my logic device be higher than the supply voltage (Vcc)?

Please note that the A/B pins are both inputs and outputs, but the limit for a high-impedance output is the same.
