SN54LVTH162244: design help for my design

Part Number: SN54LVTH162244

Hi sir,

I have a concern on the parts below.

54LVTH162244 and 54LVTH162245

what 's the Effect of 1V at its data inputs when in hold condition?

There is no requirement to signal a low or a high in this state, as 1V appears after the read / write cycle.
The concern is on the possibility of the device drawing high currents or affecting its reliablity for long term applications.

waiting your suggestion.

Thanks.

  • The only possible problem would be power dissipation.

1 V sounds like precharge. Does that circuitry have enough drive strength to overcome II(hold)? I suspect that the LVTH's bus-hold circuity is stronger, and the voltage will not actually be 1 V.
