SN74LV245AT: Number of gates and transistors

I'm afraid I can't share an exact count (ie one from our design files), however I can give you an idea of the number of transistors and gates based on the datasheet.

The device is rather simple internally, with the block diagram provided in the datasheet:

Given the above diagram, you could say that the device has 18 logic gates (16 x 3-state buffers and 2 x 2-input gates).

CMOS gates typically take 4 transistors to implement, so the quickest estimate would be 4*18 = 72.

Usually for reliability estimates, I'd recommend to use  "less than 100" transistors as the count.
