SN54HC139: What is the HBM ESD sensitivity of this device?

Part Number: SN54HC139
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74HC139

What is the ESD sensitivity rating of this device (Human-Body Model)?

Where can I find it for other parts, if it's not in the datasheet?

  • Hi Bill,

For a lot of older parts that haven't gotten datasheet updates yet, the best place to ask is here.

The SN74HC139 passed up to 3kV for HBM, and 200V for MM. I don't see a record of a CDM test.

I know that datasheet is on your list as one to get updated in the next year, so the values will get updated at the same time -- most HC family devices get a rating of 2kV HBM / 1kV CDM in the datasheet when we do the update, but it depends on the test results.
