TXS0108E: TXS0108E OE enable connected to a 3.3V I/O when the VCAA is 1.8 and 2.5

Hi,

In the datasheet, it said OE is reference to VCCA but I connected OE to a 3.3V I/O signal.

It's obviously not correct. What is the possible conconsequences ? Damage ?

Vi,

Since OE is referenced to VCCA, changing VCCA more so effects your shifting levels from high to low. The OE pin is over voltage tolerant so it's safe to apply a voltage above the VCCA level.
