CD74HCT4066E and CD4066B

What is the difference between a CD74HCT4066E and a CD4066B?

Can they be used interchangeable?

  • They are the same functionality but are different in a lot of parameters. The bigest difference being operating voltage. 0V to 10V for HCT  and 10V to 20V for CD4066B.

They could be interchangeable depending on the application.

You would need to compare the datasheets and check your circuit to see if they would fit.
