SN74LVC2952A

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LVCR2245A, SN74LVC2952A

I would like to use one port of the SN77LVC2952A to drive 50Ohm coax.  The other port is driving short traces on a pcb.  The app note: Bus-Interface Devices With Output-Damping Resistors or Reduced-Drive Outputs (SCBA12A) states that LVC2xxx transceivers have balanced drive outputs on one port and damping resistors on the other port (Table 7).  I do not find anything in the device data sheet that says which port is the balanced drive port and which port is the damped port.  Where do I find that information?

"ALL CMOS parts are balanced drive parts ( high drive and Low drive are equal). The damping resistor will reduce the drive in both directions equally. They will still be balanced.

The SN74LVC2952A does not have damping resistors. An example of a part that does is. SN74LVCR2245A"
