Hello, in my circuit I need to choose between two signals to send to the output. One signal is a train of pulses (5V amplitude) coming from a comparator (open-collector output with external resistor pulled-up) and the other comes from the output of a 555 oscilator (also 5V amplitude).
I think I can use a 2:1 mux or a digital SPDT switch/transmission gate to pass one signal or another to the output. Is the TS5A3153 or the SN74LVC1G3157 a good choice to do the job? or is it only to transmit analog signals?
The IC requirements are: 5V power supply, max. frequency pulses to transmit < 500 kHz, and if possible, small package! (<=soic8 in size).
Best regards!
