Where to find reliability numbers

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LVC1G08

Need the reliability numbers for standard and EP versions of a SN74LVC1G08.  Anyone know where to get them?

  • Thomas,
I will have to look into what we have available and get back to you. Is there a particular application that I can look into (such as temp/humidity/vibration etc.) or are you just looking for failure rates in general?
  • Just the general failure rates. Looking for reliability improvement between standard and EP parts. The estimator on the website gives the same number for the standard and hirel versions - that doesn't seem correct but may be right. BTW - Do you have numbers for failing high versus failing low for the simple logic gates? (I think the reliability person is using general models that don't differentiate so if I can get real numbers from TI it will help. Thanks Tom Kearns
  • Tom,
I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. I still haven't received anything from our internal reliability folks regarding what I can release. I will continue to look into it.
  • Tom,

Here's the answer I got from the reliability folks:

"For little logic devices it is not uncommon to see similar performance figures from reliability standpoint.

Unfortunately, there is no raw datalog available to provide details on failure mode."
