SN74LV165A under "Product Preview" on datasheet pages 5-7. Why???

Any problems with targeting the RoHS/Green SN74LV165A in the TSSOP package (SN74LV165APWG4, SN74LV165APWRG4 and SN74LV165APWTG4).

No parts are in distribution, the TI website states 10 weeks for the SN74LV165APWTG4 (250-SMALL T&R). Is this lead-time real?

 The main concern is the datasheet marked “Product Preview”, see pages 5-7. This datasheet has been around since 1998 and was recently revised in 2005. The EP military version has been in production since 2006 to the DSCC VID. Why is the datasheet still marked “Product Preview”?

    Here is the answer I received from TI factory:

    The SN74LV165A is an active part and we have been selling for many years,  selling millions of units every year.

     The leadtime on system is about 8 weeks for the TSSOP package.

     If customer is interested,   please get them to procure the SN74LV165APWR and not the SN74LV165APWT (since the T is small reel and price is higher).

    The datasheet needs to be update and should not have the preview word.   The respective party will update it soon.

    The product preview is only under the SN54 column. This is the military version that may not be relaesed yet.
