SN74CBT1G125 - input voltage range during power off

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74CBT1G125, SN74CBTLV1G125

Dear Technical Support Team,

I have a question about SN74CBT1G125.

Is it possible to input voltage for A pin and B pin during power off?

absolute maximum ratings on datasheet page.2 doesn't have a input A and output B voltage range.

In this case, specification "Input voltage range, VI (0.5 V to 7 V)" means above?

Best Regards,

y.i

  • y.i ,

CBT devices doesn't have Ioff protection feature in them to have isolation during power off.
The CBTLV /CB3Q family of devices have Ioff protection circuitry and they can tolerate inputs on their input ports when Vcc is 0V.

Could you consider sn74CBTLV1G125 for your case?

The digital bus switch selection guide is very useful in illustrating the features and applications of diff CBT devices.

  • Hi Shreyas,

    Thank you for your reply.
I'd like to select CB3Q family , because Ioff is more smaller than CBTLV .

I unserstand that their input ports(A pin) have tolerate when Vcc is 0V.
Dose output ports(B pin) have tolerate when Vcc is 0V with CB3Q family?

    Best Regards,
    y.i
  • y.i ,

Both ports are isolated during power off situation .
