CD74ACT04: input-to-output timing information missing: Jitter, drift

Part Number: CD74ACT04

data sheet information is not sufficient for us:    input-to-ouput delay :  2.4ns..8.5ns @-40°C.. 85°C
a)   Can you supply any information (e.g. Jitter, Maximum Drift) about short-time (up to 10 minutes) deviation in input-to-output-delay ?
assumption: VCC and temperature are stable
b)   Can you supply information about the input-to-output-delay characteristics of this device. E.g. the behavior of the deviation: Is it constant for a given individual device or does it change under certain operating conditions e.g. after power interruption and following power-up ?

  • Hello,
The CD74ACT04 is very old and was created by Harris Semiconductor and acquired by Texas Instruments back in 1998. What I'm saying is that we do stand behind the product and guarantee the values listed on the datasheet, however we don't have any data other than that available on the datasheet.

Can you tell me about your application? Perhaps we can find a solution that meets your requirements in our existing portfolio.
