What is the difference between the TI SN74HCxxN vs. the CD74HCxxE series of chips? (Both are in through hole PDIP packages.)

Hi Andy,
The SN74 logic devices were developed by TI, while the CD74 were developed by Harris Semiconductor, which was later acquired by TI. They are essentially identical, but in some cases there are minor spec differences.
