SN74LVC1G126-Q1: SN74LVC1G126-Q1 qualification

Part Number: SN74LVC1G126-Q1

Hi!

I am currently studying the datasheet of the SN74LVC1G126-Q1 since I'm using it on one of my designs. I have a question concerning the "automotive" grade mentionned in the datasheet. How is this part qualified "automotive"? I have seen no mention of AEC qualified in the datasheet. Is it AEC qualified? If yes, what is the level of qualification? If not, what are the standard of qualifications you use, what are the tests performed and what makes this part suitable for automotive use?

Thanks very much in advance for your help.

Best regards,

Annais

  • Hi Annais,

TI's Q1 products are Qualified in Accordance with AEC-Q100, and our "Quality 1st" portfolio continues to grow as it provides a solution for applications that do not require change control or qualifications beyond Q100.

The wording of our datasheets varies as new or popular devices will have their datasheets revised to expand upon certain details (such as results to further support AEC-Q100 aspects), while an older part's datasheet may only state "Qualified for Automotive Applications".
