Hi,

I bought some pieces of SN74AHC245DWR, and found the pins of them are all black.

I want to know if the pins are black or silver, if silver, why the pins are black? Is it oxidizing?

Looking forward to your reply, thank you.

  • Hello,
Some lead frame materials can appear dark in color, but it should not affect soldering or reliability.
