SN74AUP1G32: About the equivalent circuit and input impedance...

Part Number: SN74AUP1G32

Dear SIrs,

As my big end customer insist to get input pins equivalent circuit and impedance, I cannot find it on datasheet!!

Is there anyone can help to provide it?

Thanks.

  • Hi Peter,

    The input impedance can be found by using the datasheet as follows.

    It can also be calculated from the datasheet using the electrical characteristics table and using the digital input leakage specification and calculating R=V/I

    R = (3.6/.1uA)
    R = 36 Meg Ohms

    This is the input impedance at 3.6V Vcc and be recalculated for your use case. Typically it will be better than what is calculated here.

    The following is a general input equivalent circuit for the device.

    The Ci value can be found in the datasheet and the Ri value was just calculated above.

    The diode is meant for protection and typically turns on at around .5V

    If you would like I can provide you with a spice model for this part.

    Thanks!
