I want to run this part at 4.2 Volts over the specified temperature.  Since I am only operating at very slow switching frequencies  (i.e. less than 1 hz)  can I drive this at 4.2 Volts?  and 1.8 Volts for the two power rails?

    Hi Steprog,

    This device is not rated to operate at 4.2V according to the recommended operating conditions. None of the electrical spec can be guaranteed.

    Although, the device likely may not be damaged as the abs max voltage ratings on the input is at 4.6V.

    If both the power rails are at 1.8V, there is no translation, could you consider using another device like the SN74LVC1T45 which is qualified for 5.5V operation?
