Dear *,

1) we are not using all the pins eg. pin9 and pin12, what is the proper connection lave floating or connect to GND?

2) We have DIR1 direct connected to VCCA and DIR2 direct connected to GND, and both OE are direct connected to GND.

Hi D,

I assume that you are talking about the RSV package on pin 9 and 12.
I would advise to have all the unused IO ports at gnd.
Yes, the OE/DIR pins can be connected to gnd or vcca without pullup or pulldown. They are CMOS inputs and consume very little leakage current.

May I know the application for which this device is being used?

Dear Shreyas,

yes we are using RSV package.

We are using this level translator for UART (TX, RX) and one IO signal.
