Hi
When A is a 300kHz pulse voltage , amplitude 0-4.5V, slew rate 5V/10ns; IC use 5V power supply;
We found IC pin5 supply current near 10mA; is it normal?
thanks.

Now we check IC supply current at room temperature. When IC use 4.5V power supply, input pin A connect to GND or VCC, supply current Icc near 1mA;
But when we give 2.0Vdc to pinA; Icc current jump to 10-13mA; why supply current change so much?
Hello,
Please refer to this FAQ on why there is an increased current when pin A is not at GND or VCC.
https://e2e.ti.com/support/logic/f/151/t/737694?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=faq%3Atrue
As you can see, when you input 2.0Vdc then both the output fets turn on partialy, shooting current from Vcc to GND. This will also cause damage to the device.
Thanks!

Ans: The FAQ partly answers this questions. When you have input = Vcc/2, the current consumption increases when both the PMOS / NMOS transistors are partially turned on.
The datasheet mentions the delta Icc where the current increases when the input is around Vcc/2.
Please refer to page 46 for supply current change topic.
