SN74LVC1G07: Can SN74LVCG07DBVR replace SN74LVC1G17YZVR ?

Part Number: SN74LVC1G07

Our company's new project  useful to your TI's several logic devices, there are a few questions to help answer!

1: Can SN74AUP1G08DCKR replace SN74LV1G08GF, regardless of different packaging, if it can be completely replaced or need to modify the peripheral circuit?

2: Can SN74LVC1G07DBVR replace SN74LVC1G17YZVR, regardless of different packaging, if it can be completely substituted or the peripheral circuit needs to be modified?

  • Hi,

    1. I am not sure which part you are referring to with the SN74LV1G08GF. I believe that is not a valid part number.

    2.  Also the LVC1G07 has open drain outputs. This means you will need to use pull up resistors on the outputs. Secondly since you are replacing the LVC1G17, you are getting rid of a schmitt trigger buffer. So if you have slow or floating inputs, this will cause problems with the LVC1G07.

    Thanks!
