SN74LVC1G14: Can SN74LVC1G14 be used to eliminate the glitchs

Part Number: SN74LVC1G14

Hi

A signal with a lot of glitchs on high and low level,it is caused by crosstalk from near signal,can SN74LVC1G14 be used to eliminate the  glitchs ?

thanks

below zoom in the glitchs

  • As long as the voltages are still valid logic levels (< 0.8 V or > 2.0 V), any buffer or inverter is capable of removing the glitches.

You need a buffer with Schmitt-trigger input only if you want to prevent the noise from generating multiple edges while the signal is switching between low and high. The waveforms above are not zoomed in far enough to show if the signal edges are slow enough for this to matter.

But in any case, a Schmitt-trigger input would not hurt, so using the SN74LVC1G14 is safe.
