Hello

The "SETTING UP THE SIM INTERFACE" section of the TXS02326A datasheet describes how to start the SIM interface.

In item 3 of the sequence is writen: "The baseband SIM interface is set to a LOW state."

Ours baseband is sim53xx GSM module.

My questions:

Is it necessary to execute this item? What will be if I miss this item?

Hi,

I am not sure on the different sim types. However, it looks like that section specifically talks about Class C and Class B sims and how to set them up.
If you don't need that to be your setup, then I don't think you have to follow it. I have notified our translation expert of this question. He might know more about this and will reply to you.

Hi Lyudmila,

All the SIM interface on this device is handled and controlled by the baseband processor. The sequence of steps shown in the datasheet is recommendation and can be modified according to the requirements of the system. The device performance or reliability is not going to be affected by not following this step.
