TXS0102: Data rate

Hello,

I am a bit confused about the maximum data rate of this part, the datasheet says the following:

24 Mbps (Push Pull)

2 Mbps (Open Drain)

While this video from The Logic Minute - 3.2 Choosing the right auto bidirectional voltage translator

says the TXS family supports both open drain and push pull at speeds up to 110 Mbps.

Can you please explain the discrepancy?

Hi Vibhu,

Data-rate is up to 110 Mbps (it can achieve this in push-pull translation)
It works with both push-pull and open-drain applications.

I think there is just some confusion with that, I don't think there is any discrepancy. For the future, I'd always go with what the datasheet says since those specs are tested and guaranteed.
