SN74AUP2G08: SN74AUP series parts consume more power than expected
Part Number: SN74AUP2G08
My customer would like to use SN74AUP2G08 on their system design. But they have concern about the output current consumption.
They thought mA level is too large for their system. uA level should be better.
So do you know what kind of condition would cause such high current consumption?
These values do not specify current consumption. They say how large the external load that is connected to the output is allowed to be.
The overall current consumption of the chip itself is specified as ICC, which is 0.9 µA in the worst case (extreme temperatures).
We are glad that we were able to resolve this issue, and will now proceed to close this thread.
