Part Number: LSF0204
What is the difference between TXS0108 and LSF0204?
There is a channel of I2C that couldn’t be recognize through TXS0108 but can be found through LSF0204
From the datasheet, it seems that TXS0108 has a “one shot” circuit, is this circuit the reason? How does this circuit really works?
Could you help us to clarify this, what is the main difference?
The TXS0108E has integrated pull-up resistors, and does not need external pull-up resistors in most cases.
When the one-shot circuit detects the beginning of a rising or falling edge, it forcibly pulls the output at the other side up or down. The problem with this is that noise that looks like the beginning of an edge has the same effect, so if your signal lines have enough inductance or capacitance to introduce ringing, the one-shot could amplify that and cause oscillations.
To debug the issue, we would have to see oscilloscope traces.
We are glad that we were able to resolve this issue, and will now proceed to close this thread.
