Hi team,

The datasheet of the SN74AVC8T245 does not specify a maximum high level input voltage.
Does this mean that it is acceptable for the input to be higher than Vcci, for example if Vcci=1.8V and Vi=3.3V?

    Hi Go,

    Yes, you can apply higher voltages above Vcci, but since the device has dual supplies, you can have the supply at 3.3V instead and have the input at 3.3V. What are the operating voltage levels?

    Alternately, you can also consider using the SN74AXC8T245 for this purpose.
