SN74LVC125A: whether we can use the SN74LVC125A to replace 74AUC3G66

The '125 requires unidirectional signals; the '66 is an analog switch and can handle bidirectional signals or floating inputs.

TI does not make a SN74xxx3G66, so a P2P replacement is not possible.

What switch to use depends on the required voltage and frequency. Here is a list of four-channel 1.8 V switches.

The SN74LV and CD74HC devices are not actually specified for 1.8 V.

The TMUX1511 should have more than enough margin.

hy it can support 1.8v, and normally we will leave how much margin for the frequency? The SN74lv is in their device library, we want to check it can be or not first. Thanks.

LV and LVC are different families.

The SN74LVC125A is not an analog switch, and works only with unidirectional signals. I do not know if the HDT signals are unidirectional, but if they were, the CRB probably wouldn't have used the '66.
