SN74AVC4T245: about OE of 245

Part Number: SN74AVC4T245
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74AXC4T245

Hi team,

My customer wants to use the SN74AVC4T245. But we have some items want to check with you below.

1. From the datasheet the OE is supplied by VCCA,whether we can use the B side to connect the OE TO CPLD below?

2.VCCA= P1V8 ;  VCCB= P3V3_STBY,  if we connect OE to GND(always active). then give P3V3_STBY (B port up first) whether it will influence A side, for example leakage current. Whether we need to power up A side too. Then EN the device?

Thanks.

  • The OE inputs are overvoltage tolerant, so they can also be used with 3.3 V signals.

Section 8.3.3 of the datasheet says:

Ioff will prevent backflow current by disabling I/O output circuits when device is in partial-power-down mode.

The SN74AXC4T245 has glitch-free power supply sequencing.
