SN74LVC541A: Problem happens after 20 hours of continuous work

Dear colleagues,

Our customer input a bell shape waveform, then output square waveform.

But after 20 hours of continuous work, output changes to bell shape waveform.

And turn off the power, after a half-hour, turn on again, waveform recovery.

So do you have some suggestions on this issue?

    What is the length (time) of the bell shape?

    The SN74LVC125A datasheet mentions the input transition rise or fall rate limit of 8 ns/V; I do not know why the SN74LVC541A datasheet keeps silent about.

    Hi Rock,

    Following up to Clemens's request, could we get more information on the timing of the input waveform (rise time / fall time / length of the bell shape / length of time between bell shapes)?

    It would also be helpful to know the supply voltage, as that affects the propagation delay between input & output.
