Hi team,

My customer is using SN74AVC4T245. In the datasheet, SN74AVC4T245's VCCB range should be 1.2V to 3.6V.

But my customer tested VCCB=1.05V is also OK for their normal use.

Could you please check whether using VCCB=1.05V has any potential risk?

The lower limit of 1.2 V is guaranteed in all possible circumstances. So there will be a certain safety factor in the specified value, and the actual limit for any specific device will be somewhat lower, and can be found with testing.

However, when you go below 1.2 V, there is no guarantee whatsoever. The risk is that at a different temperature, or after some aging, or with a different chip, it can fail.

The desired voltage range is covered by the SN74AXC4T245, which is not even more expensive.
