Customer design with our SN74LV245A in VCC=2.5V/ IO=1.8V application.

I would like to double confirm with you if this application with out any issue or not. please let us know your suggestion, thanks.

V_IH is 1.75 V. This will work, but with a very small safety margin.

Is there a reason why it wouldn't be possible to use an actual level shifter like the SN74AXC8T245?

Thanks, this part is already in customer's device pool. They will stay on this solution if it is workable.
