SN74AVC2T245: Would it cause anything wrong when customer switch Vcca to become same voltage to Vccb for different sku

Part Number: SN74AVC2T245
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74AXC2T245

Hi Sir,

As the title, customer got some case that they would like to use our SN74AVC2T245 for the Dmic data & clock level shift.

But they got the case, they might have different sku with different voltage on system, but they would like to limit the change on it, so... they will keep the SN74AVC2T245 in both sku.

But the Vcca on skuA with 1.8V, skuB with 3.3v and Vccb will keeping 3.3v in both skuA and skuB... is there any concern that customer set the skuB with same voltage on Vcca and Vccb?

Thanks,

George

  • The datasheet says:

VCCA accepts any supply voltage from 1.2 V to 3.6 V and VCCB accepts any supply voltage from 1.2 V to 3.6 V.

There is no requirement that the supplies must be different.

Please note that the SN74AXC2T245 is an improved and cheaper replacement.
